Optician Awards 2018

This year brings a whole new level to the Optician Awards. Alisdair was invited to be one of the judges at the Optician Awards 2018. He spent a gruelling day with all the other industry expert judges wading through the plethora of practices and entries to reach the shortlist and then their recommended winners. Being a judge is an amazing accolade in itself, Buchanan Optometrists and Alisdair being multi-award winners. This did mean that we couldn't be in the running for an award this year. Alisdair said "It's hard work as there are some really good practices out there. The awards recognise these, and it is those practices like us that go the extra mile to ensure you get the best service and products for your needs that will win every time. It was such a privilege to be invited to judge this year and be on the other side of the fence!" Good luck to all those practices that are short-listed.
